Artist's Description
San Francisco's City Hall re-opened in 1915 after the 1906 earthquake destroyed the previous City Hall which was two blocks away. The American Renaissance, Beaux-Arts architecture includes a dome is taller than that of the United States Capitol by 42 feet.
